The SPM-140 represents a very fast, highly ergonomic and rigid grinding machine, designed with latest technology, for the production of highly sophisticated precision optics components. It is designed for work with objects of up to 200 mm in diameter that are made out of breakable materials like glass, crystal, infrared materials and ceramics. This unit is equipped with dual spindles, mounted on a multifunctional swivel head allowing simultaneous processing in several different operating modes such as "on and off axis cup tool" and "disk tool" modes. It uses a direct drive engines for all spindles and axes in addition to the water cooling system, enabling highest possible precision levels and repeatability. Additionally, it features the Satisloh BaSyS software interface for simple and user friendly operation.
